Wikipedia
A warung (old spelling: ‘waroeng’ or ‘warong’) is a type of small
family-owned business — a roadside retail, eatery or café — in
Indonesia, and to a lesser extent in Malaysia, Singapore & Suriname.
Our Pledge
The Warung, our resort’s al fresco restaurant, blends traditional
lifestyle (authentic cooking, seasonal ingredients, produced locally)
with modern trends (slow food, locavore, health conscious).
The menu features no espresso, no chamomile infusion, no French red…
Instead, we propose locally roasted kopi, a hot ginger tea, and wines
& spirits from Bali.
For a personalized dining experience, please help us by ordering food
well in advance and let us know your dietary requirements. Our Chef
would also be happy to accommodate special requests. The dishes on our
menu can be adjusted to suit specific dietary requirements. A third of
the menu can be made compatible with vegan or vegetarian diets.
